Lines of Color
Colorful eyeliner is a great way to spice up some makeup for summer!
My sister bought quite a few colorful eyeliners that she never ended up using and she gave me a few that she didn’t have an interest in anymore. So of course I accepted them and decided to try them out. Most people stick with dark colors for eyeliner because they are comfortable and familiar. It’s such a shame though because colorful eyeliners can do wonders for people. I like the green one here quite a lot because it makes the green in my eyes stand out more and I love how that looks.
The eyeliners I used here are the Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner in Emerald Sparkle, Sephora Retractable Eyeliner in Shimmer Electric Purple, and the Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner in Purple Shock. All three of these are waterproof which I find nice and they also all have attached smudging sponges. The Sephora one is much more gentle than the Rimmel ones though. The Rimmel one feels like a rubber eraser. I don’t smudge my eyeliner much though so that isn’t an issue for me. I love how these colors come out too. The Purple Shock isn’t a color that I would classify as a purple. It’s quite magenta. I think it’s still a nice color though. And as I mentioned the Emerald Sparkle is my favorite. I’m not sure if it’s because of their color or because of the formulas but all of these are very soft so I had some difficulty with breakage. Other than that, they’re wonderful and add a much needed spark to a boring makeup day!
