Home is Where the Heart Is
My Pinterest board for home has been reflecting my life as of late. And you know what that means.
I’m looking at apartments! It’s not set in stone that I’ll be living on my own for fall but I’m obviously really hoping that I will be. I went to look at my first two places today and it’s so overwhelming. Pinterest has been my savior. For all those who are looking at places or doing anything major soon, look online. Searching blogs, tumblr, pinterest and similar sites is a great way to get tons of advice. There are your best resources. You can find so many awesome things that will help you get through the big leap. Whether it be a wedding, a big party or moving into your first place. Right now, I don’t know if I’m staying at home or if I’m getting my own place so doing things like getting furniture or picking out paint colors for my current room are somewhat silly. Pinterest is helping me organize my life for either scenario so that when everything is figured out I can just jump right onto path and not have to worry to much. I think that for things as difficult as this, going online and looking for help is the best thing to do. You never know where you will find a little tidbit that saves you a lot of money or keeps you from ruining something great.
